Pray for Thailand and the Congo
Two separate uprisings have prompted Church of God World Missions to issue prayer alerts.
In the Congo, an uprising on the border near Uganda threatens Church of God congregations and members. Though no specific reports of harm to our pastors or destruction of churches has been verified, the danger is very real.
In Thailand a protest has resulted in the takeover of the Thai airport. One of our missionaries, Harold McLeod, who is Superintendent of the Church of God in that region, is among thousands who has been trapped in the airport for several hours.
During this time of Thanksgiving, please pray for peaceful resolutions to both of these conflicts and the safety of our contituents.
